Saint John Fisher is a warm and welcoming school. There is a strong sense of community. Pupils, staff, governors and parents and carers describe the school as a family.

Pupils behave well. They are keen to learn. They value the opportunities the school provides for them. They are proud to be pupils at Saint John Fisher. Every pupil the inspector spoke to said that they would recommend the school to a friend.

As well as blessing the chapel I was invited to bless the library in St John Fisher school, Wigston, and to meet the great team of dedicated librarians and some of the school governors. Thank you, Mr Gallagher & your staff & pupils for inviting me.

Year 6 had the privilege of being visited by paramedics. The team was truly remarkable, and the children had the opportunity to explore the interior of the ambulance, learn how to perform CPR, and even had some fun with the sirens.

Year 4 had a visit from Solicitor Mr. Sacranie, who shared insights into his journey to becoming a solicitor and discussed various aspects of his profession.

What a packed Friday! Not only is it Red Nose Day today, but we've also had some incredible hairstyles for Crazy Hair Day. Additionally, each class participated in a one-mile walk for CAFOD.

It's the International Day of Happiness, and with the sun shining brightly, we are certainly feeling joyful.
